A micro-gym for the everyday athlete.
Garden Hard Club is a micro-gym located in leafy, peaceful Medina. The studio is located on our property and is equipped with clean, high-quality Kinta equipment.

We are offer semi-private sessions so you get all the attention, care and accountability of a personal trainer in a small group environment.
We offer an expertly crafted exercise program which has been custom designed to encourage our members to move well, safely and with purpose. We focus on functional movements, things you would need to do in your everyday life (think squats) to build up your strength in the right way enabling you to shift that trailer load of mulch or run for the bus if you have to.
As we are a semi-private personal training gym, we have the time to ensure that you're learning how to move well and at a pace that enables you to build fitness according to your own personal thresholds and goals.
If you want to grow strong in a small, enthusiastic and nurturing community we are the gym for you.
Your time, your health, your way.
Don't get left behind in a large class or 24/7 gym. Train at a studio that nurtures you as an individual. You book your time, you keep your slot, you build a routine and you will succeed.

Madeline Ruiz
Founder & Head Coach
G'day, my name is Madeline and I own and operate Garden Hard. With my fitness foundations rooted in classical ballet, I have a deep appreciation for proper technique when performing any movement.
I have developed my knowledge of the human body and its capabilities through pursuing all kinds of fitness adventures over the last couple of decades. From running half marathons up mountains in Tasmania to sweating it out in the Bikram studios of South Melbourne to my current day passion of competitive CrossFit. I have my Certificate III in Fitness and am a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (however we are not a CrossFit gym).
So why should you train with me? Well, I am a mother of two and I am all about the everyday athlete. My exercise is my sanity, I know what it can do for your mental health and have experienced the positive effects that consistent and targeted training will have on every other aspect in your life. I always say it and I firmly believe it - you are one workout away from a better mood. If you'd like to come in and try a FREE class on me, click the button below.
